Everyday Leadership™ She Earned That

Gender Issues in the Workplace

Regardless of physical appearance and gender, we should treat each other with respect and dignity. We must acknowledge that each other’s achievements are due to nothing short of hard work and dedication, NOT appearance or sexuality. We are all on the same team.

Additional Information

Attributing a colleague’s accomplishments to their physical appearance is degrading and disrespectful. Hard work is just that – hard work, regardless of physical attributes or gender. Lessening the accomplishments of team members by false attributes is unprofessional and out of line. We ALL work hard to achieve our goals.
