Searching for videos, eLearning, and training materials in the Sollah Library has always been a bit of a hassle, hasn't it? Typing in a few keywords often doesn't get the job done. The search results come up empty because the keywords aren't spot-on, leaving us frustrated.

Many of our library users have asked for a tool that could read their minds and fetch the perfect results. Well, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve released something close to that… a revolutionary search feature that interprets the meaning behind your queries, not just the specific keywords.

Sure, if you remember the exact names of our training programs and vignettes, it works like a charm, but let’s face it, who has time to memorize all those names?

How Are We Using AI?

In the new Sollah Library search engine, we're harnessing the power of AI to get to the heart of your queries. AI analyzes and extracts the meaning, or more precisely, the topic(s), of a piece of text. These topics are then represented by numbers that cluster closely when two texts are similar. Yes, it sounds a bit technical, but trust me, it works like magic!

Imagine wanting to uncover the overall theme or subject of a video. With our new AI-powered search, we’ve got that covered! We've gathered all the subtitles from all our videos and indexed them by their meaning. And for good measure, we’ve thrown all of our training materials into the mix as well!

Gone are the days of dreading the "no results found" message. We're all conditioned to search using just a couple of keywords and hoping for the best. Now, you can even pose questions like "What to do if I am offered a bribe?" and in the first few results, you’ll find relevant content such as the video "Greasing the Wheels" that discusses exactly that scenario.
