The Interview (Game/Simulation)

Mastering Interviews & Avoiding Costly Hiring Mistakes

Believe it or not, many hiring managers have never been formally trained to interview. They wing it, they get charmed, they ask questions they shouldn't, and they hire the wrong person. The Interview puts them in the chair, hands them three candidates for a CEO's Executive Assistant, and lets them find out (in ten minutes and with zero real-world consequences) whether their instincts hold up.

Additional Information

For hiring managers who were never trained to interview, The Interview is a 10-minute simulation that turns structured, legal, competency-based interviewing into muscle memory... because reading candidates well is a skill you learn by doing, not by simply watching.

The learner plays a hiring manager, chooses which questions to ask, listens to each candidate answer aloud, decides when to probe deeper with STAR follow-ups, rates candidates on five competencies, and picks who (if anyone) to hire. A six-months-later epilogue then shows the real-world consequences of their choice, followed by a debrief comparing their read of each candidate to reality.
