Anna’s Story: Making Change Work for You uses a relatable workplace story to explore one of the most difficult realities employees face: change is inevitable, but how we respond to it is largely a choice.
Rather than treating organizational change simply as a management initiative, the program approaches change from the employee’s point of view. New procedures, restructuring, different responsibilities, new technology, shifting priorities, or changes in leadership can create uncertainty. Even positive change can be uncomfortable because it disrupts routines, expectations, relationships, and a person's sense of control.
Through Anna's experience, learners see the emotional and practical challenges that accompany workplace change. The program acknowledges that people may initially respond with resistance, frustration, fear, skepticism, or a desire to hold onto the way things used to be. Those reactions are understandable, but remaining stuck in them can make change considerably harder.
